A small update.

I forgot I had this blog. To be fair, I've had a hard time keeping a job for the last four years. My mom got really sick and was in and out of the hospital. When she decided to be "euthanized," the traveling stopped. She left a week before my birthday. At least it wasn't on the actual day. I do have a job now-always afraid of losing it though. My seizures have been bothering me often. My dad did noticed that if I do too much either after work or on the weekend, the next morning is not good. Unless I can get to work before it happens...yet sometimes I have the seizure at work... Now my brain is foggy. I will stop for now.

Home Fires - Television series

The series is amazing. The clothing attires are very close to the decade it is being portrayed. The only problem? They canceled the television series after 2 seasons! No one knows the end. What is wrong with TV producers lately? It is not the only one who has had that issue. they could of at least made a movie, or a two part movie to explain what happens. Yet to do what they did to those who got acquainted with this incredible show, it is very sad (or angry to some). The producers should not keep their job for doing such a thing.

Easy pancakes / Vegan tips & tricks

I was watching a video of Caitlin Shoemaker's ' How to eat on 1,50 $ a day ' (5:30) and got intrigued on the pancakes she made. Although I did not make them the exact same way, they were amazing! So I thought I would share the way I made them! 1/2 cup of grind oats   1/4 of a banana (medium size banana) 4 tbsp of water. Once mixed, add in the pan like you would cook a regular (?) pancake. Instead of adding a bit of peanut butter in the batter, I decided to smear it on the pancakes while they are hot (warm). The peanut butter melts and is so good! This makes about 2 small pancakes or 1 large. You can also put whatever you want on top of them. Next time, I think I am gonna put homemade jam! Hope you enjoy it! P.S. I do NOT claim the recipe! This was purely an experiment that went right! Lol.

Year review? How 2018 beaten me, yet I got back up.

Can you actually write or post a year review? If yes, then I am very blind! Haha! My 2018 kind of started end of December 2017. I ended with a shortage of hours lay-off at that now previous job. Which was good! They knew I wasn't feeling well and wanted me to get better. I did look for help from my family doctor, with no results. So I decided to continue looking for jobs and working for whoever wanted to hire me. My health did not get better and I lost all jobs I worked for. All employers were very sorry when they let me go. You could see it in their faces they were not faking it. This continued until August 2018. I finally got to see a neurologist -since mine moved and never let any of his patients know. My mother came with me and he asked her questions. Which from those answers gave some understanding to certain things that was happening to me. He urged me to stop working for at least a full year. Or until I can hopefully get better. Well, It's January 2019 and I have no...

The flowers of war - Movie review

It is great that there are more than English movies that reproduce WW2 stories. Wait! That you can find WW2 movies that are not 'English' based. From the war movies I have watched, they are usually situated in the U.S., England, France or Japan. I think it's the first time I view one that is based on a massacre that happened in Nanjing, China. With all the war stories and movies I've heard, this was a first for me. It is based on a westerner who gets stuck pretending to be a father (or a priest) to a group of schoolgirls. Not long after, some women from a brothel find their way into the church to hide. When Japanese soldiers invade the church, the women get lucky, but the schoolgirls get chased by them. The westerner does his best to protect them, yet he gets knocked down. Suddenly he gets help from a Chinese soldier who is very good at hiding and shoots some of the Japanese. It triggers them to retreat. The next day, a Colonel comes over and makes a promise that if t...

Alpha - Movie review

This is not the first movie about the past. Yet there is not many that I know who try to portrait the first human tribes. So far I can remember two-no three movies like them. Two in English = 10,000 BC and Year One. Amazingly one in French = RRrrr. Which were all incredible in their own ways. I couldn't wait to see it since I saw the previews. Just by that I felt I could somehow relate * . The young man faces a pack of wolves. While protecting himself, he injures one of them. Making the others avoid the man. From that moment starts a journey of trust. How two different species can work together to survive. That friendship can last with language barriers. The main character fins his way to become strong. I could continue talking about this movie, but I will keep the best for you to view. 9.5/10 * When I was 10 years old, I lived in a place called Wawa,ON. In the back of where I lived was the complete woods. I saw many animals come by every day. I even had a squirrel come i...

Infinity symbol | #epilepsy #anxiety #ill #seeingpeople

That title will probably make no sense to anyone. Or at least to some. Like my Intro post, I mentioned I am epileptic with highly functional anxiety. What I did not mention is I have had spells? visions? that would make me dizzy. Another thing that goes with that is the infinity symbol. Sometimes it's in both eyes and other times it can appear only in one side of my eye. I've had this when I was a kid, yet at that time I thought it was 'cool'. Last night, I decided to go to bed early. If I have energy, I read a little from the book I venture in at the moment. Yet, last night was not the case. I grabbed my book, set myself up in bed and basically  crashed. My head landed on the pillow I use to hold my book and my book dropped on the floor. My mom thought she heard something, but she thought it was Beatrice (my cat). So she didn't get up. As for my dad, he closed the T.V. to prepare himself for bed and when he went to say goodnight he got my head back up first a...
