Alpha - Movie review

This is not the first movie about the past. Yet there is not many that I know who try to portrait the first human tribes. So far I can remember two-no three movies like them. Two in English = 10,000 BC and Year One. Amazingly one in French = RRrrr. Which were all incredible in their own ways.

I couldn't wait to see it since I saw the previews. Just by that I felt I could somehow relate*. The young man faces a pack of wolves. While protecting himself, he injures one of them. Making the others avoid the man. From that moment starts a journey of trust. How two different species can work together to survive. That friendship can last with language barriers. The main character fins his way to become strong.

I could continue talking about this movie, but I will keep the best for you to view.

9.5/10

*When I was 10 years old, I lived in a place called Wawa,ON. In the back of where I lived was the complete woods. I saw many animals come by every day. I even had a squirrel come into the apartment to eat on her own. The most amazing thing that I did come across was when I was outside in the summer, I came face to face with a Timber Wolf. In certain regions of Canada, they can be common. When our eyes met, it's as if I could feel she was not gonna harm me. She didn't want to. All I felt was that she asked a safe passage without no one being hurt. Human to wolf. I was fascinated for a wolf of her size did not attack me. Yet my dad notice the male in the woods with the babies and the male was angry. Didn't take long for my dad to grab me and race back inside. To this day, I can still picture her.*
