The Bookshop | Movie review

Before I start this review, please know I have not read the book. Yet, I did do some research to know it is based on the book from Penelope Fitzgerald.

Now, as a big fan of more local-or small business- book stores, it made me think on how hard they work on choosing the books. When I have enough money to buy a book (or two) at regular price, I try to support them. If the money is low, then I go thrifting.

Some thing made me think (in the movie) on how I choose my books and I thought it was a strange way. I always read the unpopular ones or those who end up in the bargain section marked with permanent marker. Does anyone else do that?

Maybe I should, ummm, start my review. Friendship can arrive anytime in life. In the good and in the bad times. This movie had me going through quite some emotions. From happy to sad, then angry very quickly. I like it when it becomes an emotionaly rollercoaster. Well, only in movies and books. It also taught me that hapiness can somehow happen in a bad moment. All I can say is, if your dream is to open a business, do not let anyone be in your way.

I would give it an 8 out of 10.

---This is my first movie review. I am not good with them; please be patient with me as I learn. Reviews can sometimes be hard, mainly when you do not want to spoil anything.---
