Blog Intro

I was thinking of a blog post intro that hopefully will not bore the reader, in the same time not bore me while writing.

In my world, I quite feel out of place. With my family-on both sides-, I grew up on old music like Elvis, Aretha, 40s and Speak-easy music. Most music now a days does not appeal to me. I do not find you can dance to it normal. The dancing of today looks like a bunch of people having public lapdances. It can be quite disturbing.

On to a subject that may help me connect with others. I was finally diagnosed as epileptic in 2012. Apparently I was since I was pretty young, but it is not easy to notice it while sleeping. I still have a hard time that most of my attacks are while I sleep. Not a very common type. Then, I was diagnosed with highly functional anxiety. With good medication, I have been having less and less attacks. Yet, I do get these weird spells. It is as if someone goes in my back and turns the off switch. Doctors cannot find out how that happens. Plus, my parents have also noticed when they ask me to do something, I tend to forget. Lately, all I am having are blank moments or most of my body shuts down, except for a bit of my communication skills.

Since then, my family doctor and neurologist put me off work for a full year. It has been a month since I have been on wellfare (Canada). They help me with a once a month pay, medical care (some things are free) and help like if I need food or clothing.

Another subject that hopefuly will connect me with friends that share same passions is the 1940s. Although most people go for the 1950s, I am more captured by the 40s. Their clothing are so comfortable! People would talk to each other, not stare at screens. I do my own clothing. At least I try as much as possible. I sew, crochet and knit. Collecting most things from the 40s is so fun!

Last subject, I am going vegan. Not progressing fast, but learning in the same time. I also love to share recipes or take a non-vegan recipe and try to make it vegan.

I think I will stop my blog intro, before I bore someone...
I feel like I wrote too much. Lol.
